"Light Lingers" is a quiet homage to the fleeting beauty of autumn and the way light transforms the familiar into the extraordinary. A winding path through trees ablaze with seasonal color becomes a metaphor for reflection, transition, and the gentle persistence of memory.
In this painting, I was drawn to the way sunlight clings to the edges of leaves, casting long shadows and golden highlights that seem to hold time still. The path invites the viewer forward, yet the lingering light encourages pause-a moment to breathe, to feel, to remember.
Through rich hues and soft layering, I sought to capture the emotional resonance of walking through a forest in fall, when every step feels like a passage through warmth and wonder. "Light Lingers" is a reminder that even as seasons shift, beauty remains-glowing quietly in the spaces we often overlook.
