SKIN
Skin is the surface of things: what is revealed, what is held, what pushes through from beneath. These hand-built stoneware wall works explore the ceramic surface as a living membrane, encrusted, textured, glazed in layers that shift and deepen with the light. Each piece is built by hand, its exterior alive with raised forms that suggest growth, accumulation, and the slow work of natural forces. Skin does not stand alone. It is the outer layer of a larger conversation, the surface to Witness's standing presence, the touch to its stillness.
These are works about what we show, and what we carry.
